KFC/ Taco Bell HEINZ “Trivial Pursuit” Contest
Official Contest Rules
Please read these official rules (the “Rules”) in their entirety before entering the KFC/ Taco Bell HEINZ “Trivial
Pursuit” Contest (the “Contest”). By entering the Contest and clicking on the “SUBMIT” button, you (the “Entrant”)
are deemed to represent that you have read and complied with these Rules. Participation in the Contest constitutes full and unconditional
agreement and acceptance of these Rules which are final on all matters relating to the Contest.
1. THE CONTEST: The KFC/Taco Bell HEINZ “Trivial Pursuit” Contest (the “Contest”) is open to residents
of Canada only and is subject in all respects to the laws of Canada and its Provinces, Territories and Municipalities and is void where prohibited.
The Contest is being conducted by H. J. Heinz Company of Canada Ltd and Yum! Restaurants International (Canada) LP (hereinafter referred to
as the “Sponsors”).
2. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.
3. CONTEST PERIOD: The Contest Period begins on September 1, 2008 and closes at 11:59 PM (EDST) on October 31, 2008.
4. THE PRIZES: There will be sixty-one (61) Prizes total, each consisting of one (1) “Trivial Pursuit 25th Anniversary Edition” Game
(the “Game Prize”). Approximate retail value of each Game Prize is $49.99. One (1) Game Prize will be awarded for every day of the week from
September 1, 2008 to and including October 31, 2008. A weekly draw for the previous week’s winners will take place at approximately 2:00
PM (EST) on the first business day of the following week, by the Contest Judges, from the pool of eligible entries received up until the immediately
preceding Sunday at 11:59PM (EST). Odds of winning depend solely on the total number of eligible online entries received. The Game Prizes will
only be distributed by mail to the confirmed winners beginning November 4, 2008. Winners should allow 3-4 weeks for delivery. Limit of one
(1) Game Prize per email address, person or household.
5. HOW TO ENTER: To participate, log on to www.heinzitup.com and
click the Trivial Pursuit icon during the Contest Period. Enter the information requested and answer the mathematical skill-testing question.
Your name will be entered in a draw for a chance to win one (1) “Trivial Pursuit 25th Anniversary Edition” game (one game available
for every day of the promotion). The Website will be accepting entries until 11:59 p.m. EST on October 31, 2008.
6. ENTRY LIMIT: Maximum of one (1) entry per person/household/e-mail address, per day.
7. Prizes must be accepted and redeemed as described and are non-transferable and non-refundable. In the event that the prize
winner is unable to redeem any or all of the prize components due to reasons beyond the control of the Sponsors or their agents, and all parties
associated with the prize, no compensation or substitutions will be provided. No modification will be made to the prize. No cash or other prize
substitution is permitted by winner. The Sponsors and agents reserve the right to change or substitute the prize and/or alter the prize according
to availability. This promotion is not combinable with any other promotion or offer. Undeliverable prizes may not be awarded. An eligible prize
winner’s refusal or inability to accept a prize shall release the Sponsors from all obligation. In no event shall the Sponsors be held
to award more prizes than what is mentioned in these Rules or to award prizes otherwise than in compliance with these Rules.
8. DISCLAIMER: The Sponsors, participating retailers or foodservice operators are not responsible for late,
lost, damaged, illegible, incomplete, incorrect or inaccurate entry information whether caused by internet users or by any equipment or programming
associated with or utilized in the Contest or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of entries or for entries not
received due to lost, failed, delayed or interrupted internet connections or miscommunications, or to other electronic malfunctions, delays,
or errors. The Sponsors, participating retailers or foodservice operators are not responsible for printing, distribution or production errors
nor are they responsible for technical, hardware, software or electronic malfunctions of any kind including lost or unavailable network connections
whether or not caused by the user or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the game or by any human or other
error, which may occur in the game. Entrants agree to release, discharge and hold harmless the Sponsors, and their parent companies, subsidiaries,
affiliates and their respective employees, shareholders, officers, directors, members and agents from and against any and all liability or
damages associated with this Contest.
9. GENERAL CONDITIONS:
a. All entries become the property of the Sponsors. No correspondence will be entered into except with the eligible prize
winners. By entering this contest, entrants agree to be bound by these Rules and the decisions of the Contest Judges whose decisions in all
aspects of the Contest shall be final and binding.
b. To win, an eligible prize winner must first have complied with these Rules and correctly answered, unaided, the mathematical
skill testing question. The Sponsors reserve the right to disqualify a person if he/she enters the Contest or tries to do so by any means contrary
to these Rules or which would be unfair to other entrants or where Contest entries are generated by any mechanical or automated means. Entry
materials that have been tampered with, reproduced, falsified or altered are void. In the event that an eligible prize winner is disqualified
for any reason, the prize may be awarded to an alternate winner by random draw from among all remaining eligible contest entries.
c. If, in the Contest Judges opinion, there is any suspected or actual evidence of tampering with any portion of the Contest,
if technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the game, or in the event of any accident, printing, administrative, or other error of
any kind, the Sponsors, with the consent of the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux, reserves the right to cancel, modify, or
suspend this contest. In the event a dispute arises as to the identity of the potentially winning online entrant, entries made by the internet
will be declared made by the name on the registration form.
d. The Sponsors are collecting personal data about Entrants for the sole purpose of administering this Contest. No further
informational or marketing communications will be received by Entrants unless Entrants provide the Sponsors with express permission to do so
on the online entry form. By completing the entry forms, all Entrants consent to the collection, use and distribution of their personal information
by the Sponsors for the sole purpose of administering the Contest. For information or a copy of the Sponsors’ Privacy Policies, see the

e. Submission of an Entry grants the Sponsors the right to use, publish, adapt, assign, edit, dispose, and/or modify such
Entry in any way, in commerce and in any and all media worldwide, without limitation or compensation to the Entrant. Submission of an Entry
further constitutes the Entrant's consent to irrevocably assign and transfer to the Sponsors any and all rights, title and interest in and
to the Entry, including but not limited to all intellectual property rights. By accepting a prize, a winning Entrant consents to the publication
of the winning Entrant’s names, biographical information and likenesses. By participating in this promotion, Entrants agree to be bound
by the Official Rules and the decisions of the Contest Judges and to release the Sponsors, its outside agents or consultants and the third
party organization supplying the Contest Judges (together the “Contest Parties”) from any liability whatsoever for any claims,
costs, injuries, losses or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with participation in the Contest, or the downloading or accessing
of entry materials, or the acceptance, possession or use/misuse of any prize awarded herein.
10. ELIGIBILITY: The Contest is open to legal residents of Canada who are of the age of majority in their province of residence
as of the start of the Contest Period. Employees of the Sponsors and Hasbro Canada, their parents or related companies, affiliates, subsidiaries,
advertising or promotional agencies, the independent contest administration and judging organization or members of their respective families
living in the same households are not eligible to participate in this Contest.
11. QUEBEC RESIDENTS ONLY: Any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted
to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to
the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST MAY BE A VIOLATION OF
CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DISQUALIFY AND TO SEEK DAMAGES OR OTHER REMEDIES
FROM ANY SUCH PERSON(S) RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ATTEMPT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
